Frequently asked questions
For children who are new to our club, you can book a visit during after school club hours between 4pm and 5.30pm. This is a good way for you and your child to have a look around and meet the staff before their first day with us. If you would like to do this, please email enquiries@kudizeclubltd.com to arrange a day and a time.
We have two settings; one at The Windmills Junior School on Dale Ave, BN6 8LS, and another at Hassocks Infant School on Chancellors Park, BN6 8EY.
Kudize Club at The Windmills runs Breakfast Club and After School club for Windmills pupils during term time, and Holiday Club for all primary aged children in the local area during the holidays.
For Drop off and Pick up at Kudize Club at The Windmills, there will be a doorbell (with our name on it) attached to the playground gate which you will see when walking up the school drive. Please note that parents and carer’s are not to use the school car park in the morning or before 5pm unless you have prior permission to use the disabled parking bay.
Kudize Club at Hassocks Infant School runs Breakfast Club and After School club for Hassocks Infant pupils during term time only.
For Drop off and Pick up at Kudize Club at Hassocks Infant School, there will be a doorbell (with our name on it) attached to the inner playground gate which you will see when you enter the school from Keymer Road using the school’s usual one way system to walk into school. Please note that parents and carer’s are not to use the school car park.
For After School Club at Hassocks Infant School, a member of staff will collect your child from their class and take them to Kudize Club which is based in Alder Class.
After school club at Windmills is based in the Learning Cafe (near the Year 3/4 toilets), so children head there at the end of the school day. If your child is unsure of where to go, they can always ask their teacher to show them where we are.
At Breakfast Club we offer a range of low sugar cereal choices, toast with honey, jam, marmite etc, fresh fruit, and at After School Club we provide a Tea time style snack e.g. sandwich, wrap or roll with a filling of their choice plus fresh fruit & veggie fingers. There is always water available for children to help themselves to.
If you do pack food, please make sure it’s NUT FREE and sesame free i.e. does not contain or say ‘may contain nuts’ on the packaging as some children are severely allergic to nuts and sesame.
Your child can bring a toothbrush to Breakfast Club to brush their teeth after eating, we will provide toothpaste
If your child will not be attending Breakfast Club or After School Club that day (i.e. due to illness, playdate, grandparents picking up from school etc), or if you are unable to pick up your child on time. Please send a text to 07714 391851.
If it’s something that you have pre-arranged, please can you update your agreed list collections online by logging onto your account so we have all the information we need when they arrive at pick up. If it’s last minute, please send a text to 07714 391851.
